Helping shape the future of Sovereignty House.

In many cases, those life changes led to housing instability — not because these women weren't capable, but because no bridge existed for them. I'm conducting confidential research to better understand what that experience looks like, and to build something that actually closes that gap.
These conversations will help shape a new initiative focused on housing stability, workforce reentry, and long-term independence. The women who participate are not subjects of this research. They are its architects.
A 30-minute confidential conversation — by phone or video — at a time that works for you. There is no agenda other than listening. Your experience will not be shared without your permission.
Sovereignty House began with a question I couldn't stop asking: what happens to women who've done everything right — built careers, raised families, contributed to their communities — and still find themselves without stable footing after one major life event?
No existing program in Tampa Bay serves this specific woman. Not the shelter system. Not most transitional housing programs. The gap is real, and it deserves a real answer.
But I don't want to build the answer from assumptions. I want to build it from your experience. If you know someone whose story deserves to be heard, please share this page with them.
